LHF Annual Back To School Program 2025

Lifted Hearts Foundation successfully carried out its Back to School Program to support pupils’ learning and ease the burden on families within the Ikorodu community. The initiative focused on providing essential learning materials to help children return to school prepared and confident.
The outreach took place across three public primary schools located on Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu. These schools were Holy Trinity Primary School, Anglican Primary School, and Ijomu Muslim Primary School. Pupils and teachers from the three schools welcomed the initiative with enthusiasm and appreciation.
During the program, the Foundation distributed a total of 300 textbooks to pupils across the selected schools. These books were carefully selected to support core learning subjects and improve classroom participation. In addition, 85 school bags were shared with pupils who needed them most, ensuring they could carry their learning materials safely and with pride, We also awarded certificate of Excellence to the best students promoted from Primary 5 to Primary 6.
The distribution exercise was well coordinated to ensure fairness and transparency. Teachers assisted in identifying pupils who required urgent support, helping the Foundation reach those who would benefit the most. The smiles, excitement, and gratitude from the pupils reflected the immediate impact of the intervention.
Beyond the materials distributed, the program reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to promoting access to quality education at the grassroots level. By easing basic educational needs, the initiative helped pupils focus better on learning and reduced pressure on parents and guardians.
Lifted Hearts Foundation remains dedicated to creating opportunities for children to learn, grow, and succeed. The Back to School Program stands as another step toward building stronger educational foundations within local communities and sustaining hope through practical action.
